Performance/Move/Set Up Time

Band and Orchestra groups will be allowed 25 minutes in the warm-up area and a 5 minute move/set up time on stage. The time on stage begins with the first note of the performance and shall be a maximum of 30 minutes including any warmup, special tuning, breaks between movements, and time between selections. Competitive groups that exceed the 30 minute performance time limit without prior written permission will receive an automatic 5 point deduction. Authorization requests must be received no later than 6 weeks before the festival performance.

Jazz groups will be allowed 20 minutes in the warm-up area and a 5 minute move/set up time on stage. The time on stage begins with the first note of the performance and shall be a maximum of 20 minutes including any warm-up, special tuning, breaks between movements, and time between selections. Competitive groups that exceed the 20 minute performance time limit without prior written permission will receive an automatic 5 point deduction. Authorization requests must be received no later than 6 weeks before the festival performance.

Mariachi groups will be allowed 15 minutes in the warm-up area and a 5 minute move/set up time on stage. The time on stage begins with the first note of the performance and shall be a maximum of 15 minutes including any warm-up, special tuning, breaks between movements, and time between selections. Competitive groups that exceed the 15 minute performance time limit without prior written permission will receive an automatic 5 point deduction. Authorization requests must be received no later than 6 weeks before the festival performance.

Choir groups will be allowed 15 minutes in the warm-up area and a 5 minute move/set up time on the stage. The time on stage begins with the first note of the performance and shall be a maximum of 25 minutes including any warm-up, breaks between movements, and time between selections. Competitive groups that exceed the 25 minute performance time limit without prior written permission will receive an automatic 5 point deduction. Authorization requests must be received no later than 6 weeks before the festival performance. 

Dance groups will be allowed 5 minutes in the warm-up area and a 5 minute move/set up time in the performance area. The time of performance begins at the signal of the director. Color guard group performance time shall be a minimum of 4 minutes and a maximum of 7.5 minutes, with a minimum of 3.5 minutes of equipment use.

*Drill Team/Folklorico group performance time shall be a minimum of 1.5 minutes and a maximum of 3 minutes.
