The Coda Award
Established by The ARTS Music Opportunities Board of Directors in 2023, the Coda Award honors students at the end of their junior high or high school experience, who uphold the highest standard of musicianship, inspire other students, and whose positivity impacts their music program. Nominate your student!

The Excellence in the Arts Award recognizes outstanding school performing arts educators. Whether you are a current performing arts educator, private lesson teacher, fine arts director, upper-level administration, or retired from the profession, your impact on students in music education matters. We honor these individuals who have and continue to dedicate endless hours to serving their students and communities through music education day after day, year after year.
Supporting Student Education
The ARTS Music Scholarship Program
The ARTS Music Scholarship Program was founded in memory of Mary Nell Thornton to provide scholarships for deserving high school students pursuing an education in the Performing Arts. The number of scholarships awarded each year depends on the proceeds generated by the total number of entrants from the Performance of Achievement Honor Recording Competition.

This award annually recognizes exceptional parent boosters whose unwavering support, dedication, and involvement has positively impacted students in their school music program.
